Corona Festival - July 26, 27 & 28

Corona Days, the annual summer festival for the centrally-located Village of Corona, NM, is held the last weekend of July. It has been a summertime tradition since 1975, and draws visitors from across the country as well as former and current residents of the village. Graduates of the Corona Public Schools and many of the area's founding families choose this weekend to hold reunions.

Friday events typically include a youth rodeo, goat roping, music, a hamburger fry and a community dance that draws people from around Central New Mexico.

Saturday kicks off with a Veterans' Memorial Service, a parade and arts and crafts vendors along Corona Main Street. An amateur photography contest  highlights the talent of local artists. The Corona FFA offers a brisket lunch and a traditional Ranch Rodeo is held at the 4-H arena. Games, a beer garden and other entertainment round out the day.

New events and activities, including a beer garden and a duck derby helped make the 2018 event a great success, with crowds exceeding expectations.

The 2019 Corona Summer Festival will be held July 26, 27 & 28. Watch this space for more information and a full schedule of events as the date approaches.
